Melissa has dedicated over 20 years to supporting children and families through roles in child development, early childhood education, therapeutic social work, trauma-informed community services, and mental health therapy. As an adoptee, she brings a personal understanding of the complexities surrounding attachment, belonging, and family systems. Melissa is committed to offering compassionate, evidence-informed support and therapeutic guidance to children, adolescents, and families navigating behavioral challenges, parent-child/sibling relational issues, foster/adoption transitions, and emotional difficulties-with a focus on resilience, healing, and connection. She believes healing begins in safe relationships-and every child and family deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.'
