About the Presenter
Theresa Parsons, LPC-S
Theresa Parsons is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in Mississippi with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Liberty University (2010) and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2011, earning her supervisor designation in 2017.
Theresa spent the majority of her career in community mental health, where she served in supervisory roles for a decade, including County Coordinator and Director of Children’s Services. In these positions, she oversaw clinical teams, provided training and supervision to new clinicians, and ensured compliance with documentation standards and best practices.
Since 2022, Theresa has operated her own private practice, Hopewell Counseling Services, PLLC, where she continues to serve clients and provide supervision to provisionally licensed counselors. Her passion lies in equipping emerging clinicians with the tools and support they need to grow confidently and competently in their professional journey.
