Jaimie Dutoit, MS, LPC-S, LPC-MHSP
Jaimie believes in a tailored approach to meet clients where they are and work together to develop a road map for his or her journey through change. She specializes in using a combination of EMDR, Ego State Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT/DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Art Therapy to assist clients in the healing process. She has experience working with dual-diagnosis population in both individual and group settings.
Jaimie attended Mississippi State University and completed her graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Supervisor in MS (LPC-S) and TN (LPC-MHSP), Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH), a Certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA approved Consultant, and EMDRIA approved EMDR Trainer. She offers individual and group supervision for LPCs and Consultation for EMDR trained clinicians.
In her experience as a counselor, she has worked with substance use disorders, mood disorders, process addictions, trauma-related issues, grief and loss, and suicidal ideation. Her specialties are in treating addictions & trauma work, with focused interest on attachment issues and survivors of suicide. Jaimie is also passionate about working with other helping professionals.
