Jacinda is a P-LPC in the state of Mississippi. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2012 and her master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling in 2015 from the University of North Alabama. She has worked with children, teens, adults, families, couples, intellectual developmental disabilities, and geriatrics (in a nursing home setting).
Jacinda has been said to have a calm and peaceful state about her and has a way of bringing peace in a situation. She is compassionate, empathetic, goal oriented, and enjoys watching her clients grow and learn to overcome obstacles in their lives. She focuses on strengths, and includes humor in her therapy sessions. She believes that a holistic approach to mental health is imperative to wellness. Therefore, she strongly encourages physical wellbeing and spiritual wellbeing in her practice. She specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, spiritual concerns, trauma, coping with end of life, and stressors of caregiving for the elderly and disabled.

She uses a variety of modalities including cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, person centered therapy, and is currently completing training for EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
