“Don’t believe everything you think.”
This simple phrase captures the heart of my work as a therapist. Life is full of change, uncertainty, and challenges that can leave many people feeling stuck in cycles of worry, anxiety, or overwhelm. For those living with a disability or chronic illness, these challenges can feel even more intense. My goal is to help clients rediscover their strengths, build resilience, and develop practical tools to cope with everyday life—without losing sight of who they are.
I specialize in working with anxiety, OCD, PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), mood disorders, co-occurring conditions, caregivers, and major life transitions. As a rehabilitation counselor, I offer specialized support for individuals navigating visible and invisible disabilities, chronic illness, and autoimmune disorders, helping clients adapt while honoring their lived experiences.
My therapeutic style is eclectic and strengths-based, tailored to each client’s unique needs. I am trained in EMDR therapy, Interpersonal Social Rhythm Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). As a professional cellist, I also incorporate music and expressive arts when appropriate, offering creative pathways for healing and self-expression.
I believe that humor, humility, compassion, authenticity, and an open mind are essential to meaningful growth and survival. In therapy, I strive to create a supportive, genuine space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of moving forward—one thoughtful step at a time.
