Maci DeLuca

Temp-LPC
Temporary Licensed Professional Counselor

I received my Master’s in Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine in California. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have practiced as a nurse for over eight years at Baptist Memorial Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I hold that beneath every behavior exists a story. The events of one’s story can often create a fragmented internal world- a sense of disconnection from one’s truest self. In this isolated space, emotions can vary from numb and out of touch to overblown and out of control.

Making sense of where you’ve been, who you are, why you do what you do, and how you’d like your story to unfold is part of the growth process.

I desire to offer a safe space where we can navigate your journey in a more manageable and contained way.  I am passionate about resolving attachment wounds, learning healthy boundaries, growing in the capacity for integration, and stepping into what it means to reparent oneself in adulthood. Change is not easy, but you don’t have to face it alone. A flourishing life of abundance is available amidst a sense of anchored connection to yourself, your Higher Power, and others.

Areas of focus: relational struggles (co-dependence, attachment injuries, sex & love addiction, divorce), family-of-origin wounds, trauma, grief & loss, anxiety, depression, and addiction.

Therapeutic modalities: psychodynamic therapy, client centered therapy, narrative therapy, existential concepts, DBT skills, 12-step recovery
