Zach Shappley

Zach’s mission is to walk alongside his clients, to help them change aspects of their lives which move them toward healthier mental and relational states in the context of their relationships with themselves and with others. His approach to counseling involves looking at the big picture context of you, your family history, and your past and present relationships. His training in marriage and family therapy creates a special environment to work with couples and families.  Zach offers a compassionate, listening ear, with a collaborative spirit to help you be strong at the broken places.

Zach specializes in providing help in the following areas: marital and premarital, family conflict, and parenting. He also sees clients with issues that may include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, men’s issues, self-worth, spirituality issues, and stress. He serves children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  Minor children will be seen in family sessions or in individual sessions, as appropriate, with some time apportioned for the parent(s) conjointly or concurrently.

Zach received his M.A. in Counseling from Harding School of Theology in Memphis, TN.  He has his temporary marriage and family therapist license from the state of Tennessee and is in the process of finishing his full licensure requirements.
