Katrina is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. She received her Master in Counseling and Art therapy from The Adler School of Professional Psychology. She is trained in both art and verbal therapy.
Katrina has worked with children, adolescents and adults in various settings, working with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief and loss, life transitions, empowering clients, and teaching positive coping skills in order to help with symptom management. Katrina believes in meeting each client where they are at, and works to foster healing through empathy and creativity.
Katrina utilizes art and creative therapy in order to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Her personal passion for art is manifested in her work as an art therapist. Katrina is a firm believer in the healing power, insight, and creativity that art can bring to others. Using an eclectic approach when working with clients, she believes in finding the best treatment modalities that fit best for each individual in order to achieve their goals for treatment. In session Katrina strives to create a safe place where a client can work on themselves in order to live happier and healthier lives.
