Jamie Gilmartin

As a mental health therapist, Jamie specializes in working with individuals that have substance abuse disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, grief work and transitional issues. She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals. Jamie has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing for working with individuals with trauma in their past. Jamie utilizes techniques from evidenced based practices to assist in further strengthening and enhancing the foundation of the client. Her ethos on treatment of her clients is to provide a safe, calming environment to foster a healthy therapeutic relationship. Relaxation techniques and breath work are incorporated in therapy to assist in further calming and restoration of a centered state. The treatment modalities that are utilized in therapy are individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults.
