Holly is a licensed social worker and trained EMDR therapist. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Human Development from DePaul University. She has extensive experience working with clients in behavioral medicine and emotional wellness type settings. She specializes in working with adolescence, young adults, and adults.
Holly has experience and enjoys working with clients with various challenges including anxiety, depression, suicidality, attachment related issues, LGBTQIA+ related issues, parenting education and support, trauma related issues, eating disorder behaviors, self-injurious behaviors, grief and loss, and family difficulties.
Holly has an accepting, empathic, and strengths based approach. She provides a calm and therapeutic space to help you explore past and present issues that affect your current situation. She believes the therapeutic journey is a collaborative process and will focus her interventions to meet her client’s needs. She aims to assist clients in realizing their strengths and resources to make the changes they desire. Her hope for her clients is overall self-acceptance, self-compassion, and to be able to manage various life challenges. Holly’s overall goal is to enhance one’s strengths that will allow each individual to grow, heal, and accept their own journey.
