Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with five years’ experience in the mental health field.  Amanda received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University, and since this time has received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Amanda prides herself on providing individualized therapy to clients from a wide variety of cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, and ages.  Although she has experience with many different groups, she will personalize her therapeutic approach by meeting clients where they are currently, and assessing each individual’s goals for therapy.  Amanda uses an eclectic blend of humanistic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness approaches.
